This is a Guest House and Camping Trek
You will only be trekking for three days, the rest of the time is spent sightseeing, walking around the fascinating towns and travelling. Our camps are fully supported, you'll probably never have been so well looked after on any mountain walk. In The Bhutanese guest houses, accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. We use family run lodges when we can, so clients get a unique opportunity to mix with local people. Some of the places we use in Bhutan are government run guest houses.

Kathmandu Accommodation
We use quality tourist hotels in the capital, located near the centre. They have good facilities, including swimming pool, restaurants and coffee shops.

Documentation: For this tour you will need to obtain a multiple entry visa for Nepal. The visa for Bhutan is applied for out in Kathmandu.$20 and two passport photographs are required.

Witness the unparalleled natural beauty and age old cultures of the two remaining Himalayan Kingdoms: Nepal and Bhutan.
This tour concentrates on Bhutan: a country swathed in tradition. The national sport is archery, men walk around in the dressing gown type national costume, complete with Argyle socks! Television arrived here in 1997 and Mobiles only reached the capital - Thimpu - in 2004!

A free day in Kathmandu precedes the Himalayan flight which whisks you into another time, the Land of the Thunder Dragon. There is a full days tour of the colourful Paro Valley, including a hike to Taksang, the Tiger's Nest. This is followed by a once-in-a-lifetime trek through pristine forests and crystal lakes. Views of the mighty Chomalhari, fertile silent valleys, dwarf rhododendron forests and yak herders mark every step of the way. You should also see Bhutan's highest peak, Gankhar Punsum,  before descending through forests of blue pine to Motithang to drive down to Thimpu the tiny Himalayan nation's capital. A guided tour and free time allow you to explore Thimpu, before the  drive back to Paro and another spectacular flight back to Kathmandu.
