Camping Treks
Our camping treks are fully supported, you'll probably never have been so well looked after on any mountain walk. You will sleep in spacious  two man tents (single tents are available at a supplement). All meals are included, produced  by our excellent staff. There are all the normal camp arrangements, including a mess tent with tables and stools, and toilet tent etc.

Kathmandu Accommodation
We stay in good quality tourist class Hotels in Kathmandu. The usual hotel has a magnificent prize winning garden, which leads to a coffee shop and a swimming pool fashioned after a stone carved royal bath from 16th Century Nepal.

Health Matters
A medical kit will accompany the trek. We do, however, recommend that each person carry a small personal first aid kit. A suggested list of contents will be sent to all members, as well as more general information on health matters.

Documents
A visa is required for Nepal and you must have a valid passport. Trekking documents are required, but these are organised by us in Kathmandu.

This is The Classic tour, you have the time to enjoy a fully extended expedition in Nepal with gradual acclimatization throughout. It reflects the great tours of yesteryear. Although the defining expeditions of the 1920-50s set out walking from Kathmandu while you commence from Jiri, You will still have long enough a walk in to appreciate Mt. Everest gradually looming up on the horizon. Some people prefer the Camping regime to staying in tea houses; it is easier to wake up earlier, for example, and see some fantastic views.

This trek takes you over the original trail of the famous early mountaineering expeditions. On this route we experience all that Nepal has to offer, starting in the foothills and hiking across the grain of the land, past terraced fields and through villages of the Chettri and Brahmin tribes people. All the time we are getting higher and higher and enjoying increasingly closer and tantalising views of the great peaks till we reach the Dudh Kosi Valley. From Lukla, we commence our walk through this Valley and, during the trek, pass memorable villages such as Namche Bazaar, Thame, and one of  the world's most beautiful viewpoints at Thyangboche Monastery under the bastions of Amadablam. The climax of the tour is the option of ascending Kala Pattar  (5545m) or continuing on to Everest Base Camp. Most people try for KalaPattar because from here you can spectacularly see Everest down to the South Col.
