A visa is required for Nepal and you must have a valid passport. Trekking documents are required, but these are organised by us in Kathmandu.

This is a compact two week tour for those people who wish to get  reasonably near to Mt. Everest, but do not have the time to make a complete "Pilgrimage" to Base Camp or Kala Patta. It is also a great introduction to the region and will suit people who are not sure of their ability  to  acclimatize to the higher altitudes involved on the longer tours. You walk through the  home of the Sherpas with fascinating buddhist chortens and monasteries. Your high point is the monastery at Thyangboche sitting under the haunches of Amadablam, yet still offering exceptional views of Everest. This tour gives great emphasis to the people of the region, their villages and their culture.

Instant Everest:- Just add two weeks, great scenery and friendly, enthusiastic people; whisk thoroughly and leave to settle for a life time of wonderful memories!

After enjoying the sights of Kathmandu, we begin our trek with a mountain flight to Lukla and a gentle afternoon's walk downhill. We then set off up the Dudh Kosi valley and through the principal Sherpa villages of Namche and Khumjung. Our route allows time to acclimatize and reach the famous monastery at Thyangboche comfortably. Here we have a wonderful panorama of the Himalayas. Perhaps the most outstanding peak is Ama Dablam (6856m). At the head of the valley, a scant 15 miles away, rise Lhotse, Nuptse and Everest itself.

After retracing our steps to Lukla we still have time for further exploration of Kathmandu.
